In order to align the Cyprus based operation's identity to the group's one, GARnet Energy Saving Ltd (GES) has been renamed EEG Energy Efficiency Group Cyprus Ltd as of January 2016.

GES has been founded in 2000 and is considered a pioneering ESCO in Cyprus where it has completed more than 100 energy audits and a number of Energy Efficiency Projects implementation. The new alignment will further strengthen the group's identity and communication strategies.

2016 is seeing an increase in the energy auditing activities in Cyprus due to the EU legislations making it mandatory for large electricity end users. EEG Cyprus Ltd is already working on a number of energy audits which will be covered in up coming news.
